Both of us started competing in agility in November of 2007. Stevie just started in Masters for USDAA and has completed her AKC Excellent A titles. We were fortunate to travel to Scottsdale in 2009 and are hopeful for more visits to the Nationals with our friends from GVDC. Thank you to Mia, Anne and all the group for welcoming us.

Newest Member of Mia Grant’s Pack

Introducing Touchango Victory Dance! Vic joined Mia’s pack from across the pond in England. He has proven himself to be a super puppy. He has an unflappable personality and striking looks. His favorite things to do are playing tug, imitating Max, visiting with Kristi Cetrulo’s pack (especially Oso) and playing with Starlet. Mia is looking forward to their future fun in agility.

Starlet joined our pack in July of 2003. Before Roxanne’s diagnosis, I’d been looking into litters of red and white border collies. As luck would have it, the border collie of my dreams found me. Actually, my dream dog was never as pretty as Starlet. She turned 4, in September 2006. She spent her first year showing only competing in USDAA. She is now very close to finishing her ADCH. In 2005, she competed in the Performance division at the USDAA Nationals. She made the Performance National Standard Finals and placed 4th with a lovely run! She also picked up a 2nd and 3rd in Versatility Pairs Standard and Snooker. What a girl! She has been cruising through the lower ranks of AKC in 2006 with mostly wins and continuing to improve in speed and enthusiasm. We’re looking forward to 2007! Away from agility, Star likes to give kisses, go on hikes and monitor every movement Max and Gari (the cat) make.

Golden retriever Smooch, is 18 months old and working hard to learn agility and rally. Smooch loves just about everything about life: Elwood open space, the beach and any other water and going on vacations top the list.

Smooch is a thoughtful girl who (usually!) wants to do what Chris asks of her. She takes life more seriously than her older sister Annie. Smooch is also incredibly affectionate, always looking for a lap to drape herself across. Smooch has a somewhat soft, sensitive and very biddable nature which makes her a joy to live with and she has added an incredible zest to her golden sister Annie’s life and to Chris’s life as well.
