So, I’m torn on a topic. The workshop would happen after the Film Festival demo, I’m thinking noon for set up is a safe bet. I’m thinking one of two topics and will do the other topic the next available Saturday.
Topic #1: Course Analysis
Everything comes out and we run full courses. This will be a walk it, run it, talk about it, run it again class.
Topic #2: Directionals
I’m still negotiating with Jim about his return dates, but we do know he’ll be teaching a day of Distance Skills (which is essentially what my Directionals workshop would be) and a day of Gamblers. Dogs will only be able to do the Gamblers day if they have independent obstacle behaviors and solid directionals. So, if you know that’s a seminar you’d like to do and your dog does not have a solid change of direction (left/right or turn), lateral cue (out) or forward cue (go) on verbal, you may want to do this workshop.
Workshops would be 4ish hours and cost $50 for club members, $70 for non-members.
