Lexi earned her USDAA Masters Performance Dog title on 3/23/12. It’s always a great pleasure to run with my little teammate and I continue to be amazed at her enthusiasm and talent for the sport of agility!

Platinum Gamblers

Crash and I have not been to an agility trial in over a month. I was rusty…she was not. At Happy Dog on Saturday, Crash did her 50th gamble to earn her Platinum Gamblers title. Very proud of my little lab…she is a great little gamble girl! We continue to have the time of our lives each run. Even with “moose meat” or grass in the vicinity:-)

Gone too soon—a speedy agility dog who earned his AKC Excellent titles by the age of two, full of love, joy and mischief, Bosco will be sorely missed by all, but most especially by Janet Bourque

Best friend and companion to Dee, Rocky and “Gannie”

Bella is our first dog, and first agility dog. We are having so much fun and learning so much.

She loves any games that involve running fast: Agility, Frisbee, and Slingshot ball at the beach.

Set-up begins at 12:00pm

The new date of the party is Saturday February 4th, we’ll meet at the field at 12:00noon for set-up of our agility course and go from there.

Club will provide drinks, please bring a side dish or dessert
Bring as many gifts as you would like to open for the gift exchange: $20 limit, wrapped gift, doggie theme (toys, treats, etc)

Hopefully the new date still works for you, it is tough with agility trials somewhere every weekend to find a date that is good for the majority of our members.

We will do an agility demo on the carpeted stage of the Arlington Theater before the showing of the movie “Red Dog,” as part of a mini festival that will include several groups having booths outside the theater. The agility will be modified to accommodate the surface and I imagine will just include jumps, a tunnel or two and weaves. Dogs that can do cool tricks are also needed.

Date: Saturday January 28th

Arrive at the Arlington Theater: 9:00am

Demo: 9:45am (15 minutes or so)
(still leaves time to do at least half a day at DrivenDogs, if you were planning to attend that trial)

We also need dogs there that would like to schmooze with the crowd, those that enjoy attention and contact with children and adults. Please wear a GVDC club shirt to the event.
